PayEngine is a cutting edge payments platform for vertical SaaS software companies -- companies that build software that want to include payment solutions. Examples are software built for home service professionals, medical professionals, automotive, or hospitality. Also specialty industry software like shipping, AR, legal, or utilities that help process funds transfers. Generally there are the clients of your software and then whatever “consumer” of that software that pays or wants to get paid through your software. We become the payments engine, both front end and back end, to enable those payments, saving you all the hassle from creating this logic yourself.

Through our own certifications, there is very little that will need to be approved through you. A PCI Level 3 (Self-Assessment Questionnaire) is almost always required for any company, but is a relatively easy process and one you’ve most likely already completed. We have done the work for more difficult PCI level 2 and hardware certifications through the direct processors, so you don’t have to. Same for Google and Apple, our own certifications and development certificates are all that is needed. 

Tap to Pay works on most mobile devices that include NFC readers. Almost all iPhones include this. iPads unfortunately do NOT include NFC readers. Android device support varies, but most higher end ones like the Pixel do include NFC support. We have certified the most common devices and can help with selection depending on your needs.
